| Information about the maker Earl M Elam was a jeweller in Northwich. We are currently researching if he also had shops in Middlewich and Winsford. (Update we have found a Matthias Elam, watchmaker 7 Witton St. Northwich in a 1892 trade directory). The clock was made by the very respected Winterhalder and Hoffmier firm in the black forest area of Germany. (interesting given the 'Matthias' name above). |
