Description of the item
An attractive (and much prized small) 'Vienna', in nice, clean condition. The walnut veneered case has ebonised details and is of excellent colour. The case design is not over-fussy but not too stark either.

The dial is signed with the Junghans trademark
We estimate the clock was made c 1900 in Germany.


Dimensions & Specification
Dimensions: Length 37" inc finials; Max Width 10.75" (across pediment), Depth 6"
The movement is spring driven with a 6", 2-piece dial. It runs for 8 days between winds and strikes on the gong (once on the half hour and counts the hour on the hour).

Condition Report
The clock had been very well cared for and has taken little preparation for the retail. The case has been cleaned and waxed. The movement checked and oiled. The 2-piece dial is in excellent condition, clear of hairlines & chips. No sign of worm damage. Original wavy glass.
Cost of Restoration
Non required.
The movement can be overhauled for approx £120 (12 mths warranty) but this isn't really necessary at the moment.
