Description of the item
An attractive (and much prized small) 'Vienna', of excellent quality & condition. The walnut veneered case has ebonised details and is of excellent colour. The case design is not over-fussy but not too stark either. |

The backplate of the movement is marked Schutz Marke (Trademark) around "HE Co" and numbered 111636. 'HE Co' may be H Endler & Co of Frieburg, Germany
We estimate the clock was made c 1880/90 in Germany.

| Condition Report
The clock had been very well cared for and has taken little preparation for the retail. The case has been cleaned and waxed. The movement checked and oiled. The case has a couple of small areas of wear, but you have to examine-it in detail to find them. The 2-piece dial is in excellent condition, clear of hairlines & chips. No sign of worm damage. Original wavy glass. |

Cost of Restoration
Non required.
The movement can be overhauled for approx £200 (12 mths warranty) but this isn't really necessary at the moment.
