Information about the maker The movement is marked 'Marque Deposee' which just means Trade Marked. It is obviously of excellent quality. The dial is signed Gibson, Braintree, who would have been the retailer. We estimate the clock was made c1910

| Condition Report The clock has been very well cared for. The case is untouched and I'd prefer to leave it this way. The movement has been professionally restored, had new sprngs fitted and is sold with a warranty. Unusually, the porcelain dial is unmarked and the numerals and signature are clear.
