Description of the item
An English made mid Victorian double fusee bracket clock of rare small proportions. Excluding the handle, the clock is only 12" tall (350mm including the handle). It has a convex painted dial of only 6" diameter. The high quality double fusee movement strikes the hours on a coiled gong. Beautiful silk backed fretted sound panels to each size.

Information about the maker
We've seen a couple of other examples by this maker but currently haven't found any details about him. We estimate this clock dates to c1860/70.

| Condition Report
The clock was totally original when purchased but rather tired. It has been fully and expensively restored to the highest standards. It presents very well! The movement has been properly overhauled, not just given a quick clean-up. |
