Description of the item A good looking 8-day longcase case. Dial / movement & case all original to each other. Oak case with mahogany trims to the hood. Attractive painted dial (13" wide).
Information about the maker In Clockmakers and Watchmakers of Scotland, Donald White lists a David Mackay at Briack's Wynd, Arbroath, Angus in 1837.
Condition Report The clock is currently partially restored. We intend to finish the work and retail the clock. The case needed a few bits of joinery. The dial will be cleaned, the movement cleaned & serviced.
