Replica Sector Clock RESERVED This is a very accurate replica of these very popular Sector clocks, which are now selling for £3500. This is based on a 14" dial Civilian fusee clock made by Grimshaw in 1938, and is exactly the same spec. as the military ones . It came to us with a plain white dial which required restoration, so we decided to make this replica and sell it 'honestly' (unlike many of the alleged 'genuine' clocks for sale). Price around £1500 fully prepared, which is about £100 premium to a civilian clock. The photo is not the actual clock - our dial is awaiting painting. Replica Sector Clock #2 This is an excellent value replica of these very popular Sector clocks, which are now selling for £3500. This is based on a good quality 14" dial Civilian fusee clock of the correct period which we took in part exchange. As often happens with these wall clocks, the dial and movement started life in a different case, but this doesn't impact the look of the clock at all. The case is by Elliott and identical to the genuine sector clocks. It came to us with a plain white dial which required restoration, so we decided to make this replica and sell it 'honestly' (unlike many of the alleged 'genuine' clocks for sale). The dial has been expertly painted with the correct sector details and colours. The chain driven fusee movement is in good working order so the price could be as low as £975. If you wanted the movement servicing, the cost would be circa £1200. The photo is not the actual clock - our dial has just returned from the restorer. 14" Dial Elliott for the Indian Royal Air Force Very interesting English made (FW Elliott) fuse clock for the Indian Air Force Esentially the same 'spec' as our own RAF clocks, but with 'fancier' hands and Arabic numerals to the dial. 16" Dial Ebonised dial clock from a Chesterfield Church SchoolA totally original large dial clock c1900. The clock bears a silver plaque (could be easily re-sited) showing the clock was dedicated in memory of a teacher who died in 1901. This is totally original, down to the key, even the suspension 'feather' on the pendulum. We understand the clock hung in one place ALL of its life. 14" Dial 'Deco' dial clock by Darling & Wood YorkA totally original large dial clock c1930. Very interesting dial design (untouched). Darling & York were suppliers to the Whitby to Pickering railway, although this particular clock doesn't have any provable railway heritage. Original spun bezel. Super condition, just needs a few jobs to ready for retail. 17.5" overall diameter. Contact us to register an interest or enquire about this item | |

 | 16" Double Dial ClockSomething quite special. A double dial clock with huge 16" dials and made in the best materials. Many of these rare clocks were made in oak, and/or fitted spun bezels, with regular 12" dials. This 'beast' is made of excellent quality mahogany, has cast bezels and huge 16" dials. We are struggling to establish who F Murfin of Burton on Trent was, but the reasearch is ongoing. Contact us to register an interest or enquire about this item |
