Description of the item
A very attractive and clean wall good quality wall clock. Made by Winterhalder & Hoffmier, Dyer would have retailed the clock in Pitlochry. Excellent colour to the case, original dial paint. Weekly wind movement, non striking. |

| Information about the maker
Winterhalder & Hofmeier were prolific makers of clocks in the late 19th and early 20th C. They were particularly strong in the English market, because their clocks followed the English style and methods. They were based in the Black Forest area of Germany. |

Solid Walnut case (mahogany coloured now). 8-day going barrel movement. Original brass bezel with silvered sight-ring.
The overall diameter is approx 38cm, The depth is 13.5cm. |

| Condition Report
In excellent order, ready for retail. The dial and case has had some light restoration approx 15 years ago. It is therefore very clean and attractive. We've serviced the movement. It is completely original except for the pendulum which is a replacement. Old 'wavy' glass to the bezel. |
