Information about the maker
The movement was made by Martie and Co and is aslo stamped G Chretien a Paris and numbered 2598. Chretien was probably the retailer.

| Condition Report
Really excellent order. The marble has had knicks in 2 places but these have been restored and do not detract from the piece. The made case is brass which appars to have been lacquered (to a high standard) to prevent tarnishing. The mounts are ormolu and are of the best quality. The dial is immaculate, with it's original dark blue numerals. The movement has just been professionally overhauled. |
