These are the smaller of the 'table' clocks we sell. It seems no one can decide if we should use 'Mantel' or 'Mantle' so we'll use both in turn!
Small enough to fit almost all fireplace mantels or the smallest side table, these clocks are generally suited to the smaller room.
Carriage clocks were originally supplied as a travelling accessory and would have come with a fitted box for protection; many of these are now lost or very badly worn. Most carriage clocks are French, sometimes signed by the English retailer. Striking carriage clocks are much less common that simple 'timepieces'. (We have a couple of carriage clocks in our queue for listing. Do get in touch if you are looking for one).
Most examples are restored to the highest standard and fully guaranteed. All the clocks are available for viewing and we can offer a Nationwide delivery service.
