| Information about the maker 'Clockmakers & Watchmakers of Central England' by Joseph McKenna records a William Manning. 96 High st Worcester 1830 as a clock and watchmaker. By 1851 he is at 20 Cross St and in 1864 they are trading as Manning & Manning and become Manning & Co from 1878-80. This would indicate this clock dates prior to 1864 which fits well with by 1860 estimate prior to this research. |
