| Information about the maker Stokes is recorded as working 1834-48. We estimate this clock was made during around 1840.

| Condition Report In original 'as-acquired' unrestored condition. Complete and original. Movement probably 'a runner' but really needing an overhaul. Dial in excellent shape. Case needs some tidying but could be used as is.
The dial, movement and case are all original to each other (ie not 'married').
