| Information about the maker & dating We can't find much about Taylor of Fenton but can assume he was the retailer of the clock. A company of that name was in operation in 1876 in Fenton which is the same period in which we estimmated the clock to have been made. The movement has shaped plates and pillars which support this early date for this type of clock.
