Description of the item Double fusee dial clocks (as oppose to drop dial) are very rare and therefore sought after. This is a lovely example with a one-piece mahogany surround of super colour, cast bezel with the original glass covering the attractively signed dial. It strikes on a bell (some are on gongs) which is generally more sought after. The clock is fully restored and ready to enjoy. |

| Information about the maker James Brock is recorded as a clock and chronometer maker at this address in the 1882 Post Office Directory of London. A maker of the same name is recorded just down the road at No. 21, n the 1856 publication. We estimated this clock dated to c1880 which is consistent with the above.
