| Information about the maker We are unable to find any information on G Heppell of London. This sometimes happens and probably just indicates he made / retailed only a couple of clocks, or indeed was the clocks first owner rather than its maker. We can still date the clock by looking at the design of the movement, followed by the style of hands and the construction of the case. All this leads to our estimated date of c1840. |
