In addition to being objects of beauty, antique barometers are functional items that have won the affections of many. The domestic barometer has been providing an early insight into forthcoming changes to the weather since the early 18th Century. They appeal because they are generally very well made, take up so little room and need so little attention.
We offer a small stock of fully restored antique banjo (wheel) and stick barometers for sale which are professionally restored to the highest possible standards.
Please note that the restrictions on shipping mercury mean it most practical to buy & sell these items to those who are close to the North West of England or who can find a reason for a visit to the area. Nationwide deliveries may be possible and we can remove the mercury for export shipping. (Please enquire). Note: This does not apply to items described as 'aneroid' which can be shipped.
