Description of the item This is an attractive and original example of a late 18th C longcase clock by Samuel Hill of Sheffield.
It has a silvered one-piece dial with attractive engraving. The case is oak.
Dimensions: 7' 5" tall including the finial.

We estimate this clock was made approx 1790.

Condition Report Fully restored and ready to go. When we bought the clock it was very tired but remarkabley complete and original. We refinished the case, serviced the movement and resilvered the dial. We have photographic records showing the condition before we started work. We are certain as we can be that the dial, movement and case all started out life together.
