Just in and needing cleaning etc. A rare barometer because of its huge 12" silvered dial. These are much more imposing (and easier to read) than the more conventional 8" models. This one is of superb quality with beautiful veneers. Much more impressive in the flesh than we've captured so far with these temporary photos.

Information about the maker

I still need to do the reseach on him. He was selling out of 75 Stanley Street in Liverpool, We estimate the date to 1850 although it may turn out to be earlier.

Condition Report

In super condition on purchase, it needs a service a little bit of cleaning and polishing. For retail it will be fully prepared, ready to hang and enjoy.
